Loft Conversions

How much does a loft conversion cost?

The cost of building a loft conversion will run into the thousands of pounds. However due to the shortage of houses on the market, particularly in urban areas like London, it is considered a cost effective way of upsizing and adding value to a property.

How long does it take to build a loft conversion?

With a completed design in place it can take 4 to 8 weeks to build a loft conversion depending on the complexity of the project. The age and condition of the property, the roof type and weathering can all affect timescales. When planning a loft conversion the design time, planning approval time and availability of builders and materials all need to be built into the overall programme.
